In Bihar, the examination for the recruitment of Prohibition Constable is being conducted at 29 centers of Biharsharif of Nalanda. Some examinees reached the center late on Sunday. By then the gate of the examination center was closed. After this, the examinees created a ruckus. Dozens of examinees created ruckus near the RPS school of Nagar police station area, when the gate of the examination center did not open, the examinees came down on the middle of the road and stopped the traffic for a while.
The incident was reported to the city police station. After that the patrol party reached the spot and chased away the examinees. During this, the police also had a scuffle with some examinees, while the police took some examinees into custody and went away with them. At the same time, the examinees have alleged that the police misbehaved with them and also assaulted them.
Police taking the examinee into custody
The candidates who were deprived of the constable recruitment examination alleged that the gate of the examination center was closed ahead of time. Because of this they are debarred from giving the exam. While at many centers, the entry of the candidates has been taken even after nine o’clock. At the same time, some examinees cited traffic as the reason for being late. Whatever the case may be, more than 100 candidates at different centers have been deprived of the examination due to late arrival.
The official said – the gate of the examination center was closed on time
An officer present on the spot told that the gate of the examination center has been closed as per the time. The allegation of the candidates is baseless. Candidates could not reach their centers on time. That’s why these people have been deprived of the exam. In fact, the examination is being organized by the Central Selection Council Constable Recruitment for the appointment to the post of Prohibition Constable in the Prohibition Products and Registration Department. Regarding this, the examination was conducted at 29 examination centers of Bihar Sharif. The exam started at 10 am and went on till 12 noon. 20,006 examinees appeared in this examination.
